My friend, Iza Litwin and I teamed up to create series of short looping animation as an assignment for our Multimedia course at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. I must admit I like working in a team because it often brings interesting and unexpected results.
Our teacher Olga Wroniewicz required us to „achieve an illusion of space and depth not just by using certain software tools but by consciously using design methods and knowledge: to create a sense of spatial relations and surprise, in a brief loopable form”. What we found hard to work with was the palette reduced to only three colors: red, white and black.
Iza animated balls and I animated walls. The third animation was entirely made by Iza and the fourth by me.
